Ready for Sudoku?

Fill every row, column and 3×3 box with 1–9.

How to Play Sudoku

Sudoku is a number-placement puzzle played on a 9×9 grid. The board is divided into nine 3×3 boxes. Your task is to fill every empty cell with a number from 1 to 9 while following three rules: each row must contain 1–9 once, each column must contain 1–9 once, and each 3×3 box must also contain 1–9 once.

Press Start Game to generate a puzzle. The shaded given numbers are fixed and cannot be edited. Tap or click an empty cell and enter a number from 1 to 9. The mistake counter records incorrect entries, and the Check button highlights values that currently conflict with the puzzle solution.

Difficulty Levels

Easy keeps more starting numbers on the board. Medium removes additional clues, while Hard leaves fewer clues and therefore requires more deduction. The underlying rules remain identical at every level.

Sudoku Tips

  • Scan each row, column and box for numbers that are already present.
  • Look for cells where only one number can fit.
  • When a number can appear in only one position inside a 3×3 box, place it there.
  • Work steadily across the whole grid rather than concentrating on only one area.

How to Win

The puzzle is complete when every cell matches a valid solution. PlayBimo automatically displays a win message after the last correct entry is made.
